Educational Excellence through Art and TechnologyThe exterior of J.W. James Elementary
J. Wallace James Elementary strives to provide excellent educational opportunities to students through an integrated arts and technology curriculum. Students are able to choose a concentration area in the arts, which include dance, drama, vocal music, band, piano, strings, and visual art. All of the students are heavily exposed to technology in addition to the arts. Every teacher at J. Wallace James has been trained to use various technologies in the classroom in order to enhance the educational process.

Principal's Welcome

It is with great pleasure that I take this opportunity to welcome you to J. Wallace James Elementary School, an Arts and Technology Academy. Our school is a school of choice and we are extremely proud of the programs that we offer.

Our school environment is nurturing and success-oriented and we are dedicated to excellence in academics and the arts. Students are given the opportunity to explore and learn various art forms such as dance, visual arts, piano, strings, band, drama, vocal music as well as technology. Arts education in Pre-Kindergarten through second grade focuses on exploration and discovery, while grades three through five encourage production and skill refinement. Read more.
