ABOUT TRUMAN MONTESSORI Truman Montessori School, originally known as Truman Elementary was the site of an elementary school servicing children in grades pre-kindergarten through fifth grade, which was closed in May of 2002. The campus was reopened the following year as a School of Choice and was named Truman Montessori Pre-Kindergarten. Our school houses 24 pre-k classes, servicing approximately 480 pre-kindergarten students which reside throughout Lafayette Parish.
