Each and ever year brings not only a renewed sense of opportunity for parents, students, school officials and school system staff members at the Lafayette Parish School System (LPSS) to learn about each other, but also the possibility of inviting new or visiting residents into our diverse and caring school system, parish and state.

Therefore, we at LPSS are committed to assisting you and your child in adapting to a new environment. In addition, we want to maintain and sustain a relationship with all residents by promoting open and honest communication throughout the school system.
