How do I contact the Help Desk?
You may contact the Help Desk at 337-521-7063

If I forgot my Personal Identification Number (PIN) where can I get another one?
You may call into the system and when the record askes you to enter your Personal Identication Number, simply press the <*> key. This action activiates the registration mode and will recognize your social security number and give you the same PIN you had before.

Is direct deposit available for substitutes?
The district does offer substitutes the option of enrolling in the direct deposit convenience feature. To enroll, complete a direct deposit form, attach a voided check, and return both to the Human Resources Department.

What are the Hours of Operation for the Help Desk?
The Help Desk is operated from 6:30am until 3:30 pm.

What if I decide that I no longer wish to be a substitute? What should I do?
If you no longer wish to be a substitute, you should contact the Help Desk to be removed from teh calling system.

What if I have an address or name change?
If you have recently moved or had a name change, you must come into the Human Resources Department and complete a Status Change Request form. This form may be obtained from the receptionist.

What if I previouly decided to remove my name from the substitute list, but would like to substitute again?
If you previously removed your name from the substitute list and wish to substitute again, you must contact the Human Resources department to find out what paperwork must be updated depending on the amount of time its been since you last completed an application.

What if two substitutes show up for the same job?
The system will never assign two substitutes to the same job. The substitute with the job number and is listed in the system is the individual who gets the job.

What is the SEMS system telephone number?
The SEMS system telephone number is 337-521-7600.

What time does the system call-out?
For current day jobs, the system will call-out starting at 5:30 and ending when 15% of the job is complete. For future day jobs, the system will call-out starting at 5:00pm and ending at 9:30pm Monday thru Friday and on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00pm until 9:30pm.

When are substitutes paid for their service?
Substitute checks are run and mail on the 12th of every month. Checks received will be for the previous months service. I.E. October 12 check would be for September 1-30, November 12 check would be for October 1-31, etc.

When I try to log-in online, it is asking me for my USER ID?
Your USER ID is the telephone number you provided to the system during your initial registration. It is typically the users home telephone number or cell telephone number depending on which they used.
