Child Welfare & Attendance The Lafayette Parish School System's Child Welfare and Attendance Office provides a variety of services to students and their families. The primary goal of the department is to monitor attendance and discipline data and provide support services to those individuals with excessive absences or extreme disciplinary concerns.
