INTECH Registration Fall 2008
|
| Any teacher interested in taking INTECH during the Fall of 2008 should sign up on Coursewhere for a Registration meeting and assessment. The meetings will be held from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday August 26th, 27th, and 28th. A teacher needs to register for and attend one of the 3 meetings to be eligible for INTECH during the fall. |

Professional Development
Goal:
To provide the Lafayette Parish School System with highly qualified employees. Objectives: By Spring 2009, assure that all teachers in Lafayette Parish School System are certified and highly qualified. To increase the percent of highly qualified Para-professionals from 5% to 100%. To maintain highly qualified "Educational Administrative and Support Personnel in the Lafayette Parish School System by offering opportunities for growth at the school and district levels through school year 2008-2009. To maintain highly qualified "Operational Administrative and Support Personnel in the Lafayette Parish School System by offering opportunities for growth at the school and district levels through the school year 2008-2009. By 2009; Annually aspiring administrators will acquire and maintain the foundation skills necessary for successful instructional leaders. existing adminsitrators, on an as need bases, will revisit the foundation skills to maintain instructional leadership.
