Great Dreams Deserve Great Teachers

The Lafayette Parish School System is embarking on new recruiting campaign to attract the best, brightest, and highly qualified teachers for our students. One way to illustrate reasons that teachers would want to locate in Lafayette Parish is to show them the quality of the teaching force we have now.

We would like to hear from parents and alumni of Lafayette Parish schools about the teachers who inspired you or your children. Teachers make a difference not only in daily instruction, but they can be (and often are) the motivating force that raises students' interest, awareness, and involvement in projects or subject matter.

You may have more than one "great teacher" that you can talk about. We welcome you to submit your information. We will include it in a section on this website and possibly in the recruitment information that we publish for our campaign. Follow this link to send in your story.
