DRESS CODE FOR HONORS PROGRAM

Boys	SHIRT	A clean, well-pressed long or short-sleeved SOLID WHITE dress shirt with a collar.  No plaids, stripes, or paisley prints.  No t-shirts.  A TIE must be worn.  A standard conservative men's tie must be worn.
	PANTS	Dark, solid colored dress slacks.  NO JEANS of any kind (new or old)  No plaid or stripes.
	SHOES	Dark colored closed shoes must be worn.  Sandals, flip flops, tennis shoes, or other athletic type shoes are NOT acceptable.
		No visible body piercings; no distractive hair colors or styles.
Girls	DRESS	Girls must wear a dress or blouse and skirt that DOES NOT hang below the graduation gown.  No spaghetti straps, strapless, low cut, denim, or see through dresses are allowed.  No bright colors.
	SHOES	Black dress shoes with a back must be worn. Tennis shoes, flip flops, or casual sandals ARE NOT acceptable.
	HAIR	No distractive hair colors or styles.
		Since this is a formal occasion which dictates a particular mode of dress, no dangling or outrageous earrings or necklaces will be allowed.  Small earrings or studs are acceptable.  Watches and rings will be accepted.
ALL		NO purses, beepers, cell phones, walkmans, CD players, MP3 players, video games, or gum.
		Graduation gowns must be worn to the Honors Program.  Caps, however, ARE NOT worn for the Honors Program.
