We are excited to announce that we have moved into the new areas of the school. The front office has moved to the Administrative Building located in the rear of the previously existing building. We are now asking that all parents enter campus through Foster Park and walk through the center gate and into the Main Entrance.

Children's Museum of Acadiana

CMA is offering several camps this summer for ages 4 to 12. These summer camps are offered in areas of Arts & Engineering, Jewelry, Friday Day Camps, Art and Circus Camp, and a Scrapbook Camp! For registration questions, please call (337) 232-8500 or email

Lafayette Public Library Reading Programs

The Lafayette Public Library is offering summer reading programs for children birth - 12 years old. Dates to join these programs are May 18th - July 24th! These camps also offer prizes and incentives for summer reading! Visit or go to the nearest public library for registration and camp information!


Read to Succeed Summer Reading Program at Ernest Gallet!

Ernest Gallet will host a summer reading program. The program is open to any student that has completed 1st - 8th grade. All students from Lafayette Parish Schools are welcome to attend. Students will have the opportunity to take AR quizzes throughout the summer. An individual goal will be set for each student. Students achieving that goal will be invited to attend the Summer Reading celebration for food, fun, and prizes!

Important Date:

Thursday, June 4, 2015 - Registration at Ernest Gallet from 12pm to 6pm. You will need to bring a 3 prong folder with pockets and a $10.00 Registration Fee.
