Welcome to JW Faulk Elementary Welcome to JW Faulk Elementary, home to Lafayette Parish's only elementary candidate school for the International Baccalaureate program and a pilot school for the new, nationally-acclaimed Project Bright IDEA program. We appreciate the faith you have placed in us and we are working hard to reward that trust with a great education for the children of JW Faulk. For the last several years, JW Faulk has served as Lafayette Parish's only elementary "candidate school" for the International Baccalaureate program. The IB program is globally recognized for its ability to prepare students for a college education. And, this year we're excited to be a part of the immensely successful Project Bright IDEA program, which according to the US Department of Education nearly doubled the number of students identified for the Gifted and Talented program over a five-year period in North Carolina.
