Summer School for Deficiencies Summer school will be provided for Lafayette Parish School System students in grades 5 – 12. Summer school provides an opportunity for students who have FAILED a subject to remove that deficiency. Summer school is not for students to receive additional credit. Students currently enrolled in Lafayette Parish Public Schools will register on Wednesday, May 27, 2009, and Thursday, May 28, 2009 between the hours of 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Middle school students will register at the summer school site and high school students will register at their respective high school.The summer school program WILL NOT provide transportation to and from the summer school sites. Students must provide their own transportation. It is important that all students leave the campus in a timely manner.
