The 5th grade students will report directly to their homeroom class on the first day.  There will be a separate assembly for the 5th grade students later in the day.

6th Grade, 7th Grade, 8th Grade:
When they arrive on campus, all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students will report to the gym for a brief general assembly and homeroom assignments.

ID Card

Students attending LJA Middle School are required to purchase I.D. cards.  Students must wear the card at all times while on campus.  These cards identify the students as members of the enrollment at  L. J. Alleman and serve many purposes in addition to ensuring the safety of the student population.
Student I.D. cards have numbers coded on them which simplifies getting food in the cafeteria, checking out books in the library, and various other processes on campus.

 LJA Planner
Each student at LJA Middle school needs to purchase an assignment/agenda planner.  This book serves as a place to record assignments, as well as the student's Hall Pass.  It also provides for an effective and regular means of communication between home and school.
Students are responsible to have this book in their possession every day and to record necessary information in it.  Parents are asked to review the planner daily as a way to keep informed about student progress and content of the classes.
