Request for PR Services

The Public Relations Department would like to assist you as much as possible with your information and communication needs. Using the link provided on this page, we can help you more quickly and efficiently. We will be able to keep track of your needs and keep you updated on when your request has been completed. This process will work similarly to send an email to the department, but will be more effective. Please add this page to your favorites or bookmarks to make it easy for you to submit information or send requests.

The Public Relations Department can assist you in the following ways:

  • School News - Send your information about what's happening on your campus (honors, awards, recognitions, interesting class assignments, events, outstanding customer service, etc.), we'll put your news online and forward it to the local news media to try to get extra coverage. If you send pictures, please identify people in the pictures, including teachers, with first and last names.
  • Media Relations - Local reporters will often contact you directly at your location. If the story is positive, you certainly may assist them in gaining positive news coverage for your school. If you are uncomfortable in any way (negative or controversial stories), please refer the media to PR for assistance.
  • Publications - The PR Department produces a number of publications for the district (such as the Student Handbook and High School Course Guide). Use this site to notify the department that you need copies or that you are requesting changes in a publication.
  • Partnership Development - The position of business partnership coordinator has not been filled, but the department will continue to assist you.  We are surveying schools to determine who your partners are and what they do for you.  We want to keep a current list of all partners on our website to be able to acknowledge their contributions to our district on an ongoing basis and keep our public up-to-date on who supports our schools.
  • Connect-Ed calling system - The PR department helps you stay up-to-date with your Connect-Ed service.  If you need any assistance with Connect-Ed - setting up and training new users, providing refresher training, or have questions about potential uses, please send a request to the department.
