AUDITS

The Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent of Finance is authorized and directed to provide for the auditing of all individual school accounts by the central office accounting/auditing staff at the end of each school year or at such other times as deemed advisable. Each year a sample of schools shall be audited by the then contracted public audit firm.

Note: Accounts of the parish Board are audited annually by the legislative auditor for the state; cafeteria accounts are audited annually by the State Department of Education.
