DISPOSITION OF SURPLUS PERSONAL PROPERTY

Personal property owned by the Lafayette Parish School board may be identified as surplus in its then present use.  In such cases the Superintendent will cause to be circulated to all schools and departments of the LPSB a notice announcing the availability of such equipment.

The property will be reassigned to that school or department representing, as determined by the Superintendent, the best use.

In the event the property is not requested by any LPSB school or department, it will be disposed of by means prescribed by applicable law.
