STUDENT TRANSPORTATION INSURANCE PROGRAM

Ten (10) days prior to the commencement of each school year, each contract bus driver shall provide the Supervisor of Transportation with a copy of his/her automobile liability insurance policy, covering the contract bus driver's bus for a full year. The contract driver must also furnish a paid receipt showing that the policy has been paid in full. Failure to comply with this regulation will result in the bus driver's being suspended without pay until such time as he/she has complied with this regulation.

Each policy must provide the minimum coverage listed below:

• $100,000 each person liability coverage for bodily injury

• $300,000 each accident liability coverage for bodily injury

• $100,000 each accident liability coverage for property damage

The Board shall provide for insurance on district-owned buses.
