ULL's Greek Council donated over 200 books to Mrs. Billeaudeau for Alice Boucher's Reading Program.  
Mrs. Piazza, Ms. Washington and the Spanish Pre-K students were on hand to greet our guests from ULL.

Mrs.Sandra Billeaudeau leads the first annual International Day with a few words at Alice Boucher World Languages Academy.  
700 students from schools within the parish participated in the International Day.  
Ms. Padilla's first grade Spanish Immersion class performed a Spanish song for the audience.  
Ms.Tarin and Ms.Stewart 's second grade Spanish Immersion class performed songs and dances.  
Ms. Lopez and Ms. Guerro's Spanish Immersion Kindergarten class delighted the visitors with their performances, while the French Team sang a French song.

During the International Day at Alice Boucher World Languages Academy, many booths were available for the students to enjoy like the different "Fun Jumps"  
Mrs. Blake looks at the items for the "Silent Auction" booth, while Ms. Servat and Ms. Jackson make jewelry.  
The "Face Painting" and "Tatoo" booths were a big favorite of students.  
Ms. Wilson and Ms. Fuselier were in charge of the "Africian Basketball" booth. 
The Counseloring Department sponsored a "Tic Tac Toe" booth giving helium filled balloons out as a prize.

Faculty elected Claire Lasseigne as "Teacher of the Year" at Alice Boucher World Languages Academy 
KATC awarded a digital camera to Alice Boucher World Languages Academy from the "Tools for Schools" Program. The television station will air the clips from the presentation at 6 o'clock on either Monday, April 14 or Monday, April 21.
 Students from Alice Boucher World Languages Academy participated in the track meet at Lafayette High School.

Brandon Shelvin, Councilman from District 3 in Lafayette gave a motivational speech to the students at Alice Boucher World Languages Academy during the month of February. 
"Tippy the Tooth" visited the students at Alice Boucher School. Everyone enjoyed the presentation and received wonderful prizes from the guest speakers.

Christmas came early this year for students who were recommended by their teachers at Alice Boucher school. Twenty six students, who had excellent behavior and good attendance, received bikes from Academy Sporting Goods here in Lafayette. 
While this was happening, the 4-H members from Alice Boucher collected over 300 cans of food for needy families during the Christmas Season of giving. 
The Ballet Acadianna performed an excerpt for the students from the story entitled The Littlest Angel.The story was also read about an angel who could not stay out of trouble. It was an understanding elder who guided the little cherub through a lesson of giving during the Christmas Season.  
Everyone enjoyed the performance of the Ballet Acadianna in the school cafeteria. 
The Annual Christmas Program included music and dancing performances by many classes.  
The halls of World Languages Academy, Alice Boucher, are beautified by several people.
