Indoor Air Quality Management Policy
At the regular board meeting on Wednesday, May 21, the Lafayette Parish School Board approved a district-wide policy on Indoor Air Quality Management.

Improving and Maintaining Indoor Air Quality

in Lafayette Parish Public Schools & Offices

The Environmental Protection Agency has developed the Tools for Schools kit that forms the basis of our school district's indoor air quality assurance program.  This kit is a comprehensive guide for all stakeholders in the school district, including parents.  Click here to view the Tools for Schools kit.

Our Indoor Air Quality Team follows the recommendations published in the Environmental Protection Agency's "Mold Remediation in Schools and Commercial Buildings."

To report an Indoor Air Quality problem, complete the Indoor Air Quality Complaint Form and return it by mail to the IAQ Coordinator, Ramona Bernard, in the Insurance Department of the Lafayette Parish School System.  You may e-mail the completed form to mbernard@lpssonline.com.

The Lafayette Parish School Board has adopted two policies which apply to indoor air quality management: Policy File FKA and Policy File FKA-R.
