NON-BUSINESS USE OF BOARD-OWNED VEHICLES

The Lafayette Parish School Board has determined that it is in the school system's best interest to allow certain employees to take their board-owned vehicle home so that they may respond quickly and efficiently to "before and after hour" work issues. In those instances in which the Board has made such an allowance, the attached statement should be completed by the employee and signed. This statement clearly states that the employee understands that the only personal use of the vehicle that is allowable is their travel to and from work. The statement also clearly states that any passengers in the board-owned vehicle must be pre-approved by the departmental supervisor.
