ATTENTION ALL 8TH GRADE STUDENTS! Any 8th grade student who is a former French immersion student and is not taking French this year at Alleman should see Madame Elder in Rm. 59 before Friday at 3:30 p.m. concerning the French I Credit Exam to be given in April. (read Thursday & Friday morning)

TEACHERS & STAFF: Don’t forget to sign up for Wednesday’s track meet. Coach Morvant & Coach Leblanc need your help!!

ATTENTION TEACHERS & STUDENTS: All band students riding 2nd load should pick up their instruments after the 2nd bell. There have been students not in band getting out of class at 1st bell with their friends in band, coming to the band room to pick up instruments. Please monitor the students leaving your class. Again, all 2nd load band students should pick up their instruments after 2nd bell.

ATTENTION STUDENTS: Mardi Gras beads will be collected through this Friday. Bring your beads to your grade level science teacher for grade level competition. The winning grade level gets a jean day. This is for all grade levels 5-8. Mrs. Boutte says bring in dem beads, boo.

6th & 7th grade girls - Cheerleading tryouts will be held March 8th, 9th & 11th after school.

LHS will hold a cheerleader tryouts. March 23rd-24th. The actual tryouts are March 26th. A mandatory parent meeting will be held March 22nd in the Lafayette High Cafeteria at 6:00 PM. Anyone interested needs to pick up a tryout packet in the front office.

The menu today in the cafeteria is pork tips w/ brown gravy & steamed rice, candied yams, dinner roll, and pineapple tidbits.
