PBS is a collaboration, assessment-based approach to developing effective interventions for problem behavior Emphasizes the use of proactive, educative, & reinforcement-based strategies to achieve meaningful & durable behavior outcomes. Aims to build effective environments in which positive behavior is more effective than problem behavior. Golden eagle wings are given for classes who show exemplary behavior in various locations throughout school. Auxiliary staff distribute golden eagle wings. Blue eagle wings are randomly given to students who are following PBS rules. Woodvale Faculty & Staff distribute blue eagle wings to students.
Prizes are awarded weekly, monthly, and at the end of each 9-week period.
