Alice Boucher World Languages Academy Library Vision Our library is the vibrant center of a culture of reading and inquiry at Alice Boucher World Languages Academy. Mission Our library will provide the setting, resources, opportunity and guidance to enable all students and staff to become capable, independent, responsible and enthusiastic readers and information consumers. Staff Martha Baden, Librarian and Catherine Hamilton, Library Assistant Alexa Landry and Jessica Frazier, Americorps staff members Hours 7:45 AM-3:30 PM Library Schedule All classes visit the library once a week for 30 minutes. That 30 minutes includes time for stories, booktalks, practice using library materials and online resources, research and book selection. The library is also open for students with library passes all day. Every afternoon, the library is open for two hours to students who have library passes or teachers who would like to bring their class to the library. Checkouts Students in 1st grade through 5th grade may check out two books at a time. Preschool and kindergarten students may check out one book at a time. The checkout period for all grades is two weeks. Volunteers We welcome volunteers to our library. Please contact Martha Baden if you are interested in helping!
