Technology / Video Consent Form - Students, please make sure you have turned in your technology/video consent forms (Page 3 of your student handbooks) to your Homeroom Teachers. If you need a copy of the form, ask your teacher or check with the front office.

ALL STUDENTS - We need your help!  Go to the LHS Website and take the survey for Title 1 before May 14.  We need your help in completing this survey.  Please tell your parents to complete the parent survey. THANKS

ACCEPTABLE USAGE POLICY Form from LPSS - Students, please make sure you have turned in your LPSS Acceptable Usage Policy form.  You may print out a copy from the link here.    AUP Form  If you do not turn in this form, your GOOGLE ACCOUNTS will be suspended. This is NOT the same as the LHS Technology / Video Consent Form above.

DRIVERS ED - If you are interested in taking the drivers education course, information can be picked up in the main office. 

FOOTBALL JERSEYS FOR SALE - Coach Pool is selling jerseys from last season for $25.  See him in Boys Gym to purchase.

LAST WEEK FOR AFTER SCHOOL TESTING

SPRING FOOTBALL SCRIMMAGE - Come out a support the Mighty Lions Football Team in their Spring Scrimmage Thurs, May 18 at 6pm.  Admission will be $5.

PARKING PASSES - Parking passes are now on sale.  See Mr. Richert in Rm 105.

SPA LOOKING FOR MEMBERS - The Student Parking Association is looking for new members. See Mr. Richert in Rm 105 for more info. Must have a 2.5 GPA. Open to Sophomores and Juniors.

PARKING PASSES - Attention students parked in Reserved.  You must go see Mr. Richert in Rm 105 one day this week to tell him if you are renewing or not.  Grab paperwork and pay for your spot by this Friday, or your spot will be sold to someone else.  All new reserved and non-reserved sales for next year start next Monday, the 15. 

BOYS BASKETBALL TRYOUTS -  Friday, May 19 After School in the Boys Gym

GIRLS BASKETBALL TRYOUTS - There will be tryouts for girls basketball on May 15-17 from 2:35 - 5pm.  Any girls interested in playing next year must see Coach K by Thursday.

NATIONAL MERIT FINALIST - Congratulations to Sarah Cagle, Joseph Mouton, Jackson Munsell, Noah Prejean, Lauren Suire, and Chad Wood for being named National Merit Finalists.  Very proud of you!

CAFE des LIONS - The coffee shop willb e giving out "buy 1 get 1 free" chipotle coupons with the purchase of a hot coffee, iced coffee, or hot cocoa.  Stop by the library at anytime for tasty beverages.

JUNIORS - Wed, Mar 15 is the last day to pay Jr. Fees before they go up to $50.  Currently $25 and can be paid in Ms. Migues room during Pride Period on Wed, Mar 15.

SENIORS -

*** Sr's and Graduating Jr's -Friday will be the last day that Project Graduation tickets can be purchased from Jacory Mernard, Meeyana Richard, Dhaija Smith, Armani Bailey, and Adele Hebert.  Tickets are $30 and can be purchased only with cash or money order.  May 5 and May 12 are the last days to purchase tickets during both lunches.  Afterwards, Ms. Dwa Smith can be contacted at (318) 347-4826 t purchase tickets up until the day of the event.  Prizes will include, but are not limited to TV's, laptops, mini fridges, and other items needed for college, DJ Mr. Socialite will be there, there will be lots of activities, food, beverages, and most importantly this will be a great time to celebrate one last time as a class.  Please purchase your ticket as soon as possible to ensure that we get your correct t-shirt size and that you receive a t-shirt.  Finally, on the night of the event, check-in will begin at 10pm at LHS but the last bus will not leave LHS until 12am so you have plenty of time to spend time with your family and friends and still attend Project Graduation.

*** This is the last week to submit  baby pictures or senior ads to be included in this years yearbook.  See Mr. Bihm for details.

***Attention seniors... senior fee is now $50 after Dec. 1.  This fee will go up again March 1 to $60. Please pay Mrs. Guidry in Rm 241 at lunch or during 8th period.

***Academic Patches have arrived.  If you received a congratulatory letter in October stating you were a recipient of the academic letter award and patch, please come see Ms. Augustus in the counselor's office.

SENIOR SHIRTS - The senior shirts are now on sale for $15.  You may purchase them in Rm 241 (Mrs. Guidry's Room) or Rm 240 (Mrs. Allen's Room)

FRESHMEN SHIRTS - The freshmen t-shirts are in!  If you paid the class fee, but did not get a shirt, come pick up your shirt in Mrs. Ogle's Room (Rm 502)

JUNIOR SHIRT ORDERS - Orders will be taken Tuesday thru Friday of this week.  (Before school in lobby only) $7 for sizes S - XL and $9 for 2XL and above.

Reminder - With weather getting colder, we can NOT have :  Sweats, Blankets, or Pillows on campus and NO Hats in Buildings ! ! ! Items will be confiscated.

NEW DRESS CODE - New dress code for the 2016-2017 School Year

      TOPS - Black Polo Style or Black/Green t-shirt purchased from LHS
      BOTTOMS - Khaki or Navy pants, shorts, or skirts (No Black)
      OUTER WEAR - Sweat Shirts/Hoodies in approved school color (Must be LHS Related)

SHORTS/SKIRTS - Shorts/Skirts/Skorts MUST BE no shorter than 4" above the knee.

PBIS T-Shirts - PBIS T-shirts may be worn any day in place of uniform black/green PoloShirts.  Can be purchased for $14.00 at Orientation

Student ID's - Be sure to wear you ID's at all times - SAFETY

Class Fees / Dues - Remember to pay your Fr/So/Jr/Sr Class fees and also your individual course fees.

All Book Bags MUST BE MESH / CLEAR
