Media Release/Parent Consent Form Students who attend school in the Lafayette Parish School System are occasionally asked to be a part of school and/or district publicity, publications and/or marketing/public relations activities. LPSS takes advantage of the benefits of modern media and technology. Students’ images may appear in pictures, brochures, newsletters, newspapers, annual reports, videos, television programs, commercials, web sites, and/or audiotapes. Each school maintains a copy of the District Media Release form, which contains the parent/guardian's consent or non-consent to use a student's name and image in our public relations efforts. However, LPSS has no control of media use of pictures/statements that are taken without permission. District Media Release Form
