General Policies

• Visit the AHS Library for a nice space to read, research, collaborate, relax, work on assignments and study
• Be respectful of those who are reading and studying by keeping voices low

Circulation Policies

• Books are checked out for 4 weeks at a time. They may be renewed before the due date for another 4 weeks.
• Students may not check out a book if they have an overdue book.
• Students can put a book on hold if the one they want is already checked out.
• Students cannot checkout books or computers if they owe overdue books and/or fines for lost books to the library. However, a student with a lost book fine can check out a book or computer as long as they contribute some amount towards their lost book fine each time they want to check something out.

Computer Policies

• Check out a computer from the circulation desk and use the computer that is assigned. Put the number by the computer and return the number to the desk when finished.

Printing Policies

• Students may print using the library computers. Black and white copies are free. Printing in color costs $.25 cents a page. Color printing costs can be added to an account as a fine if necessary. Ask a librarian for assistance with color printing.
