A St. Martin Parish native, Mistrot attended UL Lafayette where she majored in General Studies before becoming an elementary teacher. Eventually, she decided to follow her true passion for counseling, earned a master's degree in science, and became a licensed therapist. She joined the ECA team in 2012.
