This week, LPSS has adjusted the school calendar in EDgenuity to reflect the four days of school closures, so the students will no longer be required to submit assignments on those days when school is closed. This means, however, that the assignment calendar in a student's Course Map will recalculate the number of assignments each student needs to complete each remaining active day of school. As of today, Wednesday, October 14, students should continue with their current assignments until new work is assigned. As new work is assigned, students should continue completing work. Any work that is not completed this week should be completed next week.
We recognize that some students may still not have power or internet access. As a reminder, each school campus broadcasts Wi-Fi service and the majority of schools have a smart bus from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily that extends the Wi-Fi service for our LPSS students. Look for Link & Learn signs and cones on each campus and remember your login credentials to access this network.
