Hurricane Delta Date: 10/11/20

Middle and High School (EDgenuity)

LPSS has adjusted the school calendar in EDgenuity to reflect the school closures, so the students will no longer be required to submit assignments on those days when school is closed. This means, however, that the assignment calendar in a student's Course Map will recalculate the number of assignments each student needs to complete each remaining active day of school. Depending upon the severity of the storm and resulting damages, the calendar may need to be adjusted again.

Elementary (Pathblazer and Amplify Reading)

Students in grades K-5 have the option of completing work during the period that LPSS is closed due to hurricane Delta. Any work that is not completed this week should be completed next week.

New assignments will be posted when teachers return to schools this week and/or have a chance to push out new activities. Completion will be dependent on when assignments are created and sent to students.

Amplify Reading does not require the teachers to assign work. The students can log onto the platform and work whenever they would like. Students should still practice for a minimum of 60 minutes a week.

We hope all of you - and your families - remain safe.
