LOA Weekly Progress Report & Attendance

For grades 6-12, your child is considered in attendance of LOA as long as he/she remains on track or ahead in all of his/her courses, as indicated by your child’s progress being blue or green, with an overall grade of 67% or higher. The 25 hours of work per week stated in the orientation is a general guideline for parents.

If your child is extremely productive and completes the required number of activities per course per day to stay on track, he/she may actually work fewer hours than the guidelines suggest.  If your child is not completing the required number of activities per day to stay on track, he/she may need to work more hours than stated.  This information can be found in your child’s weekly progress report.

If you have not received your progress report, please contact your child’s facilitator.  Your child should complete each assignment by the due date indicated in the Course Map for each course to stay on track.  If your child is behind in any course, he/she should determine how many additional assignments each day he/she needs to complete to catch up.
