Earlier this week, you should have received an LPSS J-Campus text, phone and email message with a brief update on the onboarding and orientation process for Lafayette Online Academy. If any parent did not receive one or more of these communications — especially email — we can only assume that LOA does not have a valid email address for that parent. Without a valid email address, LOA cannot communicate with you and your student for online learning. Any LOA parent who needs assistance should contact the student’s base school.
As a reminder, LOA orientation and onboarding must be complete to prepare students to begin online learning next week.
Today, LOA base-school facilitators will begin sharing LOA google classroom sites with students/parents in preparation for coursework assignments that will begin Monday, September 14, 2020. Moving forward, the school-based facilitators will be the main contact for communications and questions regarding LOA.
