LPSS Superintendent Appoints New Administrators to Green T. Lindon Elementary and Milton Elem/Mid

Lafayette Parish School System Superintendent Dr. Donald Aguillard has appointed Ginger Richard principal of Green T. Lindon Elementary School and Kandice Broussard principal of Milton Elementary/Middle School.

Ginger Richard earned a Bachelor of Arts and Master’s of Education from UL Lafayette. Ms. Richard began her career as a teacher at Ridge Elementary where she served for 7 years. During her term at Ridge she was voted Teacher of the Year for the 2008-2009 school year. She was then promoted to serve Lafayette Parish as a lead math teacher for three years. Next, she accepted a position at Milton Elementary/Middle School as the instructional strategist and served for three years. Soon after, she was promoted to assistant principal at Green T. Lindon Elementary and served in that position for two years.

Kandice Broussard earned a Bachelor of General Studies degree from UL Lafayette. She earned her Master’s degree from Lamar University. Ms. Broussard began her career at Kinder Elementary School in Kinder, LA. She came to Lafayette in 2015 and served as the intervention teacher at Comeaux High School where she was a Lafayette Education Foundation Teacher of the Year nominee. She then was promoted to itinerant assistant principal at Milton Elementary/Middle and Youngsville Middle School. She currently serves as assistant principal at Milton.
