Karen Barbier

Hi! My name is Karen Barbier. I was born and raised in New Iberia, and received by BS in Science Education at UL Lafayette. A few years later, I earned my MEd in School Counseling at Northwestern State University. I have been a school counselor for 13 years at Acadiana High School and Woodvale Elementary. I'm married and have two daughters, a son, and two cats. We spend our time together planting and growing our garden and finding new camping adventures. I also spend time baking, learning how to use my camera, and driving my kids to dancing, piano, volleyball, and basketball.

Hey there! I'm Kirsten Daniels! I’m from Hathaway, Louisiana. I am married and have two beautiful dogs. I obtained a Bachelors in Criminal Justice and I just graduated with my Masters in Counselor Education with a concentration in school counseling from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I’ve taught several grade levels (mostly lower elementary) the last several years. This is my first year as a school counselor and I am so excited to start my career at Woodvale Elementary. I love traveling with my husband and two fur babies, Rosie and Ranger. We enjoy camping and exploring new places together. I also love photography and reading.
