Welcome to the homepage of Broadmoor Elementary School. We are located in Lafayette, Louisiana, the heart of Cajun Country. Broadmoor Elementary is a PreK-5 school, servicing students from the Broadmoor Elementary community and Limited English Proficient students from around the parish. Our school has received local, state and national recognition for its success with students. It has been recognized as a National School of Excellence by the United States Department of Education. Through the state’s accountability program, Broadmoor has received a four-star ranking and is recognized as a School of Academic Distinction.

Broadmoor Elementary is staffed by dedicated professionals who provide a nurturing, positive atmosphere for the students it serves. The school staff is committed to excellence in academics and works toward providing successful learning experiences for all students.

Through the Broadmoor Elementary Parent/Teacher Organization, parents are provided with many opportunities for involvement. Parents are strongly encouraged to actively participate by volunteering their time and talents at school.

Through the Partners in Education program, several local businesses provide support to the school through the donation of their time and resources. We encourage this active involvement and welcome the opportunity to add additional partnerships.
