Parental Volunteer

Parents are you interested in volunteering, attending field trips with your child, or assisting with a school event. Lafayette Parish School System now requires parents to fill out an application. There are two level types of Volunteers.

LEVEL 1:

• Will NEVER be left unsupervised with students.
• Assist with Campus Activities (field day, academic or holiday celebrations, etc.)
• Assist with office duties
• Attend Field Trips

Any volunteer can complete an application to become a Level 1 volunteer. Applications can be completed at the school with a copy of a state issued ID.

LEVEL 2

• Can be left to supervise students alone
• Chaperone Field Trips - Being left in charge of a group of students without supervision
• Volunteer coach/band helper
• Volunteer Tutor/Mentor

Must contact Mrs. Castrejon 521-7670 at Evangeline elementary 2 weeks prior to schedule event. Also must complete an application at school with a copy of a state issued ID.
