Ovey Comeaux High School is thrilled to announce our selection for 2025-2026 Student of the Year, Miss HannahBeth S.!
HannahBeth has been a member of:
- National Honor Society for 2 years, serving 1 year as Vice President
- Fellowship of Christian Athletes for 2 years, where she served as Huddle Leader
- Beta Club for 2 years
- EdRising for 2 years, where she was appointed Social Media Manager for 1 year
- Lady Spartan Volleyball for 2 years, currently serving as a Co-Captain
- Softball for 2 years, and
- Meaux Friends for 1 year
Outside of school she enjoys shopping, being with friends, watching her favorite shows, and playing pickleball. She has also worked at a summer camp for children with special needs where she totaled over 300 hours of community service during her junior and senior year, and was repeatedly nominated for Attendant of the Week.
After graduation, she plans to attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette to major in Speech Pathology and Audiology, and pursue a Master's degree.
HB, as she is fondly referred to around campus, is known for her friendly and bubbly personality. She is quick to lend a helping hand and constantly exudes school spirit and #SpartanPride. She not only excels academically, but is always striving to be meaux involved.
