To Request a Transcript

• You may mail your request to the attention of the Counseling Department, come by the school between the hours of 7am and 2pm, or email the counseling clerk. If mailing your request, please address your request to:

• Please provide ALL of the following information:
  • Full name when you last attended Lafayette High School
  • Year of Graduation
  • Date of Birth
  • Social Security Number
  • Address where we should mail your transcript (if you are not picking it up).
  • Contact number
• A parent, other family member, or friend CANNOT request a transcript on behalf of a graduate. NO EXCEPTIONS! Please do not ask us to make an exception.
• Processing a transcript request usually takes 24 hours, so a request turned in at the end of the day will generally be ready for pickup at the same time the next day.
• Important Note: Lafayette High School only maintains records for five years after graduation. After five years, all student records are transferred to the Lafayette Parish District Office.
