Girls Basketball
Grade Level: 6th-8th Grade
How to try out: Paperwork is given about 3 weeks before the tryout date. They are told multiple times throughout PE classes and also written on "The Board" by the locker room. They must provide a physical signed by a doctor.
Season: November-January/February
Goal: To teach LJA girls the game, proper techniques along with good sportsmanship, communication and team work. But my main goal is to get these girls High School ready and also to win PARISH

Boys Basketball
Grade Level: 6th-8th Grade
How to try out: 1st round during PE. 2nd round after school
Season: December to February
Goal: To work as a team and to hopefully win parish championship
