Business Finance at Acadiana High

The Acadiana High School Academy of Business aims to provide students with essential business knowledge and communication skills for success in post-secondary education and the workforce. As part of the National Academy Foundation, the Academy offers a rigorous academic curriculum focused on finance, hospitality, and tourism. Students engage in industry-designed courses, competitions, job shadowing, internships, and work toward certifications. They also gain practical experience through professional dress, career readiness activities, and opportunities like working as an IRS Volunteer Tax Preparer or a credit union teller. The program connects classroom learning to real-world business, helping students make informed career choices and develop workplace skills.
