Good evening, This is Denise Matthews, Assistant Principal of Ovey Comeaux High School. I would like to welcome you and your student to the Spartan family. On Thursday, July 26, we will have a Freshman Camp and Orientation. The schedule for the day will be as follows: Camp activities from 8:00 - 12:00, Lunch and then Orientation activities will begin at 1:00 with a Parent Meeting in the cafeteria. The camp activities will allow the students to meet some of their classmates and acclimate themselves to the campus. Orientation will include introduction of the administration and some of the staff. Fees will be collected and schedules distributed after the meeting. If you haven?t registered your student for the Camp you can do so from the school?s LPSS website. All students registered by June 30 are guaranteed a Camp shirt that can be worn on Fridays as a Spirit Shirt. If you have any questions please feel free to call the school or email me.

Information about Orientation for 10th, 11th and 12th graders will be posted as soon as it is available.
