Policies and Procedures
In order to effectively operate this school, it is essential that we establish policies and procedures. We have provided a Lafayette Parish Schools Student-Parent Handbook to address the many questions and concerns you may have. Please familiarize yourself with all the policies contained in this handbook. In doing so, you will certainly be instrumental in helping us to have a successful school year. School Business Hours
Our school business hours are from 7:55 a.m. to 3:10 p.m.
Bell Schedule
The bell for instruction to begin rings at 7:55am. The bell for dismissal rings at 3:10pm
School Visitor Policy
Please view the visitor policy from LPSS.
Dress Code
Students will follow the LPSS dress code. Students may wear a red, white or navy polo with khaki or navy bottoms. C.H.E. spirit shirts will be sold at the beginning of the school year. Spirit shirts may be worn any day of the school week with uniform bottoms. Boys may wear shorts or pants. Girls may wear shorts, pants, capris, skirts, skorts or jumpers. Hoodies are prohibited. Parking
The circle drive at the main entrance of the school is for buses only. Cars will not be allowed to park there to drop children off until after the 7:55 a.m. bell. Parking will be permitted in the front circle between the hours of 7:55 a.m. and 2:40 p.m.
Breakfast and Lunch
All students who attend Carencro Heights will receive free breakfast and lunch.
Birthday Celebrations
Students in grades Pre-K thru 1st are allowed to have store bought cupcakes brought to school for their birthday.
