LPSS Student Clear Bag Policy
Students in grades 6-12 are required to have a fully clear (no colored tint) or solid color mesh (no prints or designs) backpack.
Students in grades PreK-5 are encouraged to use a clear or mesh backpack for the 2022-2023 school year and will be required to have a clear or mesh backpack for the 2023-2024 school year.
All students may carry (1) clear tote not to exceed 12" x 6" x 12".
All students are allowed to bring (1) non-transparent bag no larger than 5.5" x 7.5" for personal items and (1) non-transparent lunch bag approximately 9" x 6" x 5".
These (2) non-transparent bags may be carried in the student's backpack or clear tote. A Chromebook inserted into a laptop sleeve is also permitted in a backpack or clear tote.
Extracurricular bags and equipment do not have to be transparent and must be stowed in an assigned area as designated by each school immediately upon arrival on campus.
