Girls on the Run
Girls on the Run (GOTR) is an international nonprofit program designed to inspire and empower girls in grades 3–8. Through a fun, research-based curriculum that integrates running with important life lessons, GOTR helps participants build confidence, develop strong social and emotional skills, and embrace healthy habits for life.
Over the course of the season, trained volunteer coaches lead small teams through interactive lessons that focus on self-confidence, emotional regulation, teamwork, goal setting, and resilience. The program encourages physical activity in a positive and inclusive environment, welcoming all fitness levels.
The season concludes with a celebratory, non-competitive 5K event, giving each girl a tangible sense of accomplishment and the joy of achieving a big goal—together.
