NOTE:  The purpose of summer reading is to encourage a love of reading and to keep students involved in learning throughout the summer.  Although these titles were chosen according to theme, relevance, age appropriateness, and reading level, they represent a varied range of Lexile levels and some novels may contain mature content. We suggest parents review the content of these novels with their children before making selections. 

Select one novel from the list. No assignment is expected at this time. Students will complete an activity based on this reading at the beginning of the school year.
