Lafayette Middle School Threat

Lafayette Middle School received a report that a weapon had been seen on campus yesterday afternoon, Wednesday, March 14, 2018. The administrative staff of Lafayette Middle School immediately followed district protocol for this type of report. The Lafayette Police Department investigated the allegation. No weapon was found and the instructional day was not interrupted. Student safety is a priority and we take every report seriously. We will continue to work to keep our students safe, and we encourage parents and students to report any type of safety issue to administration.
