Math Materials Review

After analyzing test trend data in mathematics, Lafayette Parish School System administrators conducted a review of math materials, grades K through 9.  As part of the review process, district officials received recommendations from principals, teachers, and parents. After reviewing the results of the process and considering several other factors such as a new textbook adoption in K-5 ELA and budget constraints, the final recommendation from Superintendent Dr. Donald Aguillard is to continue with the current textbook and curriculum in K-9 mathematics.
