Student at Myrtle Place Found with Inoperable Airsoft BB Gun

On Wednesday, November 4, Administrators at Myrtle Place were made aware that a student might have a weapon on campus. Upon investigation, it was found that the student brought an inoperable Airsoft BB gun concealed in a backpack. The BB gun was confiscated and the student disciplined according to LPSS student behavior guidelines. At no time was there a firearm on campus, and no student or faculty member was ever at risk.
