LPSB Special Meeting Announced at Lafayette High School

Beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, the Lafayette Parish School Board is holding a second special board meeting at Lafayette High School. This will follow the 4:00 p.m. public hearing and 4:30 p.m. special board meeting to adopt the budget in the LPSB board room. At this meeting, the school board will consider moving forward with the construction of three new school sites. Also, a special dedication will be announced.

This special meeting will take place outdoors at the LHS stadium. In the event of rain or inclement weather, the meeting will be moved indoors to the boys gym. If moved indoors, capacity will be limited based on current COVID guidelines. Masks will be required.

As a reminder to guests, LPSS COVID-19 protocols are still in effect. This includes social distancing on campus and wearing of masks while indoors.
