The Lafayette Garden Club, in partnership with Project Front Yard and the Bayou Vermilion Preservation Association, held its annual anti-litter poster contest. The purpose of this contest is to educate students on the importance of litter reduction and create more interest in projects that enhance our landscape. Select posters will be showcased at area businesses to bring awareness to the local impacts of litter.

First, second, and third place winners within each of the three categories will receive a cash prize of $50, $30 and $20, respectively.
