There have been several changes to bus routes, bus numbers, and bus drivers for the upcoming school year. The updated information can be viewed on the Lafayette Parish School System website at www.lpssonline.com. Click on the transportation link. After entering your street address, grade level, and any special program, you will be able to see your child’s bus number and driver’s name and contact information. For the first few days of school, and until the bus driver’s driving times become routine, we encourage you to have your children at the bus stop 15 minutes before and after the bus’s scheduled pick up time. If you still have questions regarding your child’s bus route, you can reach our transportation call center at 337-521-RIDE. The call center will be open beginning August 8th. It will be open Monday-Friday from 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Additionally, the call center will open on Saturday, August 13th and Sunday, August 14th. After August 14, it will remain open during on weekdays until August 26th.
