Applications for the Lafayette Parish School System Pre-K program along with all Program Partners of the Lafayette Parish Early Childhood Community Network go online as of March 1, 2016. Parents can access the application at www.enrolllafayette.com. Lafayette’s Early Childhood program is for children 6 weeks old through Pre-K4. The Lafayette Parish School System along with Nonpublic School Early Childhood Development (NSECD), Type III Early Learning Centers (Child Care Centers), SMILE Head Start, and Early Head Start are working together under ACT 3 trying to provide better access to families through a coordinated enrollment system.
“Our parents will now complete an application online at www.enrolllafayette.com for a possible slot in the LPSS Pre-K4 Program. We will have rounds of notifications beginning at the end of this month to let parents know if their child has a slot in the LPSS Pre-K4 program and how to proceed. Although this will be something new, parents will know sooner if their application has been accepted,” says Christine Duay, Director of Early Childhood for the Lafayette Parish School system.
All Network Program Partners listed on this website have committed to working together to improve the quality care and education of the children they serve in Lafayette Parish.
